Observatory Sounds is a multispeaker outdoor sound installation in conjunction with a piece by sculpter Barbara Westermann. The sculpture with accompanying sonic environment is scheduled to be exhibited in Fall 2007 at the Socrates Sculpture Park in New York. This piece is a part of a trilogy of sculptures that deal with space, architecture, sound, and the transmission of information. An excerpt of the sound piece is available below.
